Burlington-Edison boys’ basketball players Jake Anderson and Kolby Arendse have earned first-team all-Northwest Conference honors.

The seniors led the Tigers to a runner-up finish at the Class 2A state tournament.

Also making the first team was Sedro-Woolley senior Ethan Brown.

Mount Vernon’s Michael Caswell and Eric Jensen were named to the second team.

On the all-NWC girls’ team, Anacortes’ Brittany Janz and Burlington-Edison’s Keri Arendse were first-team picks.

Among those making the second team were Anacortes’ Alyssa Averill and Burlington-Edison’s Sarah Stewart.
