I listened to a CD of a speech given by a quantum physicist by the name of David Van Koevering recently. He is 67 years old and was the inventor of several technologies in the fields of light and musical instruments. He is very knowledgeable about sound, frequencies, and other technical aspects of music.

He talked about some of the unique instruments he has created and/or played over the years. One of them that he mentioned was a device called the RoyEl that somehow played the table of elements, using their frequencies. I learned that just about all music that we know of, is based on Pythagorus' theories about music (from which we derive intervals and "notes"), and by using methods of obtaining other frequencies (like the table of elements), we can hear sounds that may have never been heard before. The same thing applies to the planets....all of the planets revolve around the sun, and do so in a repetitive pattern...creating a frequency. These frequencies could be mathematically calculated and a "Symphony of the Celestials" could be created. Pretty wild stuff! I'm definitely going to be looking into this more...there is an area of music that has possibly never been discovered before!

Hi Jamie,
Thanks for the interesting post. I have never heard anything about this, I am interested to learn more, also.
