MOUNT VERNON — Floyd and Dorothy Hagman marked their 60th wedding anniversary May 1, 2008, commemorating the event with small celebrations.

The Hagmans’ children and their spouses are Paul and Debbie Hagman of Mount Vernon, and Kay and Mike McAllister of Mount Vernon. The couple have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Floyd owned Riverside Millwork and Building Supply until he retired. Dorothy worked for the business, for Sears, and for the Mount Vernon School District until she retired.

Floyd and Dorothy Hagman were married May 1, 1948, at First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon.
