John Huddleston and Ashlee Norris announce their engagement.

The bride to be is the daughter of Ken and Lisi Norris of Concord, Calif. The groom-to-be is the son of Jay and Kitty Huddleston.

Huddleston is a graduate of Anacortes High School. Norris graduated from high school in Concord. Both earned their master’s degrees from Western Washington University, where they now work.

Huddleston proposed on New Year’s Eve with fireworks bursting over the Eiffel Tower in Paris. They are planning an October wedding in Bellingham.
