Christopher Avery Meyers and Christina Jean Lane announce their engagement.
Lane is the daughter of Terry and Marilyn Lane of Concrete.
Meyers is the son of Steve and Mary Jo Meyers of Rockford, Ill.
The bride-to-be graduated in 2001 from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders, and in 2005 from the University of Washington with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She works as an occupational therapist at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle.
The groom-to-be is a 2004 and 2005 graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science. He works as a software engineer at Microsoft in Redmond.
The couple are planning a summer 2008 wedding in Mount Vernon.
