Wayne (Jack) Hoover marked his 85th birthday Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007. He and wife Barbara celebrated during a family dinner on Sept. 30.

The Hoovers’ children are Lee and wife Maggi Hoover of Edmonds, Larry Hoover of Concrete, and Les and wife Becki Hoover of Concrete.

The Hoovers also have four grandchildren — Mason, Brandon, Karissa and Brianna — and one great-grandson, Dylan.

Hoover was born Oct. 3, 1922, in Mount Vernon.
