Christina Lynn Welk of Anacortes and Michael Alan Carr of Bellingham were married in an evening ceremony Jan. 5, 2008, at the First Assembly of God Church in Anacortes.

The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Linda Welk of Anacortes. The groom is the son of Guy and Kitty Carr of Bellingham.

The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Les Welk.

The maid of honor was Alyssa Welk of Anacortes and the best man was Paul Carr of Bellingham. The bridesmaid was Macy Wilson of Mount Vernon and the groomsman was David Welk of Anacortes.

The couple make their home in Everett.
