MOUNT VERNON — Amanda Flanary and Brendan Keegan of Irvine, Calif., announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Scott and Jana Flanary of Mount Vernon. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 2002.
The groom-to-be is the son of Jim Keegan of Laguna Beach, Calif. He graduated in 1996 from high school and attended college in southern California. He is self-employed.

The couple are planning a May 24 wedding at Beau Lodge in Bow.
