SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Monica Self and Ash Piercy were married in an afternoon ceremony Feb. 16, 2008, at their home in Sedro-Woolley. A reception will be held later this summer.

The bride is the daughter of Launa and Chris Fry of Sedro-Woolley and Ed Self of Concrete. The groom is the son of Janice Piercy and the late Dennis Piercy of Sedro-Woolley.

The Rev. Rob Piercy officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride carried a bouquet of red roses. Melissa Lamont of Mount Vernon was maid of honor. Derek Dziura of Burlington was best man.

The bride graduated in 2000 from Sedro-Woolley High School. She is employed by Skagit Valley Publishing in Mount Vernon.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Sedro-Woolley High School. He works for Truck Vault in Sedro-Woolley.

The couple took a wedding trip to Seattle. They live in Sedro-Woolley.
