GRASSMERE — Skagit County sheriff’s deputies today are investigating the apparent overdose death of a Grassmere man whose body was found around 7 a.m.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death, and deputies said they don’t suspect foul play. Evidence indicates that cold weather, as well as alcohol or drugs may have played a role in the man’s death, deputies said.

The man, whose name has not been released, died in an recreational vehicle park near Challenger Road in the eastern part of the county.
