Book sale a hit

On behalf of the Friends of the Burlington Library I want to thank the community for their awesome support of our Spring Used Book Sale. We raised $1,811, which makes this our best sale ever. Two of the key ingredients for a successful sale are books and shoppers and for our spring sale we had an abundance of both. Thank you to everyone who cleaned out their book shelves and brought in boxes of books. And thanks to all the shoppers — your donations to the Friends will provide funds for special library programs and resources.

Don’t forget that we accept donations of gently used books year round for Book Ends, the booksale nook in the lobby of the new Burlington Public Library. Come in and browse at Book Ends if you need a paperback book to take to the beach this summer. Thanks again to the community for your ongoing support of your new library.
