Community cleans up

Clear Lake Community Connection would like to thank the following for our successful “Clean up Clear Lake” day, Saturday, April 19. We want to thank Clear Lake Community Covenant church youth group, the Skagit County Health Department, Morris Nilson, Henk Kruithof, principal of Clear Lake Elementary, Mark Venn, Superintendent of Sedro-Woolley School District, Rick VanPelt, President of Clear Lake Historical Association, Karen Wilson, Deanna Ammons, Darrel Gadbois of the Clear Lake Food Bank and all the other community volunteers who helped haul away 24,500 pounds of trash. Our biggest thanks goes to Karen and Jeff Jansma and Jansma Construction, Inc. for all their trucks, loaders, equipment, help and the room to make it all happen. All of you helped to make Clear Lake and cleaner, safer place to live and play.
Clear Lake Community Connection exists to foster community in Clear Lake through positive relationships, community events and activities, safety and well-being and education.
