Anacortes’ Crystal McDaniels and Mount Baker’s Sabrina Hansen tied for medalist honors with 47 Stableford points, but the Seahawks came away with team honors, outdistancing five teams to finished with 198 points at the April 30 event at Bellingham’s Shuksan Golf Course.

Asuka Nagata placed third and Kandace Londo fifth for the ‘Hawks.

On Thursday, May 8, Anacortes will play in the Northwest Conference tournament at Lake Padden.

The event starts at 2:45 p.m. Qualifiers advance to the District 1 tournament at Snohomish on Monday/Tuesday, May 12-13. The 2A state tournament at the Homestead Golf Course in Lynden awaits top finishers in the district tournament.
