The Burlington Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Jon Aarstad as the 2009 Berry Dairy Days Grand Marshall. Aarstad will lead the 72nd Annual Berry Dairy Days Parade in Burlington on Saturday, June 20, 2009.

The Burlington Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Jon Aarstad as the 2009 Berry Dairy Days Parade Grand Marshall. Jon is well known for his support and dedication toward community events including Past President of the Burlington-Edison Little League, Treasurer of United Way of Skagit County and member of the YMCA Board of Directors. Jon is also a recipient of the Ted Reep Award from the United Way and graduate of the Leadership Skagit program.
Jon graduated from Burlington-Edison High School, and recently retired as the Administrator for the City of Burlington. Jon has been instrumental in many programs that have made Burlington the destination it is today.
Linda Aufrecht, President / CEO of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce is thrilled that Jon will be Grand Marshall of the Berry Dairy Days Parade, “Jon is a great asset to our City. We are very lucky to have him as the Grand Marshall in one of Skagit County’s oldest and most treasured festivals.”
The parade begins at 11:00 a.m. at the corner of Fairhaven and Walnut street proceeds east on Fairhaven Avenue, and ends at Maiben Park.
