The Anacortes Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on its third draft of development regulations & design standards update at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Anacortes City Council Chambers, 904 Sixth St.
Major changes include zoning amendments, changes to permitted land uses, community design standards, building and site design standards, and parking, landscaping, signs and more.
The changes are designed to reflect the goals of the 2016 Anacortes Comprehensive Plan Update.
The Planning Commission is expected to approve the update following the public hearing and forward to the Anacortes City Council for consideration.
Written comments will be accepted until 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11.
