Registration is open for the Marathon March Point Run & Walk on June 22.
All proceeds from the 25th annual run and walk will go toward CHOW (Cutting Hunger On the Weekends), a program focused on ending childhood hunger in Skagit County.
The event features 5K, 10K and half-marathon lengths. In-person registration is 7:30 a.m. June 22. A free, half-mile run for kids is at 8:30 a.m. Other races start at 9 a.m.
Early registration is $25 for the 5K, $20 for 10K and $45 for the half-marathon. No charge for veterans and seniors over 70.
The run begins on the grounds of the Marathon refinery at the northern tip of March Point. It takes runners over shoreline routes on March’s Point Road, across the point and back to the refinery.
