Makin’ chocolate
Mara Salzer, 8, of Anacortes pours cocoa nibs into a churning bowl of chocolate Monday on the first day of Forté Chocolates’ weeklong Chocolate Summer Camp in Mount Vernon. The camp is put on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. by Forté owner and Master Chocolatier Karen Neugebauer at the Forté production kitchen at 1400 Riverside Drive. Another camp is scheduled for Aug. 12-16. Students are welcome for the week or on a per-day basis.
