Mount Baker steams

Mount Baker vents steam in this March photo as seen from the Bow area. The 10,778-foot-high peak is considered an active volcano, and the venting of steam is not uncommon. The volcanoes in the Cascade Range are a result of the Cascadia subduction zone.
