BURLINGTON — Burlington police are investigating an alleged stabbing early Tuesday morning in the 600 block of South Adler Street.

Police were dispatched to the scene about 3 a.m. When they arrived, they found a man on the ground stating he had been stabbed in the abdomen, according to the news release from the Burlington Police Department.

Police gave the man first aid until emergency medical responders arrived. The man was then taken to Skagit Valley Hospital where he was rushed into surgery.

According to the release, the man told police he was stabbed by two individuals. He was not able to give a description of those he said attacked him, according to the release.

Police searched the area but located no suspects.
