CLEAR LAKE — Sedro-Woolley High School seniors continued a graduation tradition Friday by parading through the halls of their former middle and elementary schools.

At Clear Lake Elementary, graduating seniors were met by cheering parents, teachers and students blowing bubbles.

After a quick procession through the halls, the students took time to meet with former teachers and hang out on the playground.

Clear Lake students watched as seniors took turns playing a game of “long ball” and facing off on the tetherball court.

For seniors like Emily Chevez, the parade brought feelings of nostalgia and perspective.

“Everything is really small,” she said.

The seniors were to graduate from Sedro-Woolley High School on Friday night with the final day of classes for other students in the Sedro-Woolley School District being June 17.
