March snow flurries blanketed much of Skagit County in a new dusting of snow Wednesday and Thursday.
And though more precipitation is possible today, the National Weather Service’s Seattle office is forecasting that it is likely to fall as rain.
In western Skagit County, the weather service said there is a slight chance of rain and snow showers with little or no snow accumulation expected.
In eastern Skagit County, there is chance of snow showers in the morning, then a chance of rain in the afternoon.
New snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible.
