Mount Vernon, Washington resident, Jacqueline L. Buchholz, age 86, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Seattle. She was born on December 14, 1934 in Hanford, California to Nicholas and Emma (Ihde) Tenbroek. Jacqueline married Robert D. Buchholz on December 23, 1953 in Santa Monica, California. One of Jacqueline's early employments was as the change lady in our local public schools. She enjoyed gardening as well as collecting tooth pick holders. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon. Jacqueline is survived by her son, Nicholas W. Buchholz; brother, Gene Buchholz; sister Janice Puscas; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Red" Buchholz in 2005; son, Douglas B. Buchholz in 2012; mother, in 1987; father, in 1989; and sister, Patricia Kennedy in 2011. A private graveside service was held at Mount Vernon Cemetery. Services were under the care of Kern Funeral Home of Mount Vernon.
