April 30, 1972 - April 5, 2021 Jessica Lin Czereszka (Jenkins) was born on April 30, 1972, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She passed after battling ovarian cancer April 5th, 2021 from her home in Hillsboro, Oregon. Jessica was a joyful, creative, bright person whose infectious laugh and smile could light up any room. She went to elementary school in Seattle, WA where she was awarded the Seymour Kaplan Humanitarian Award. She graduated high school in Mt. Vernon, WA where she was the Valedictorian and later from the University of Washington with Honors. Ahead of the curve, Jessica was fluent in Mandarin and lived in China in the 1990's, where she cut her teeth in the business world, before moving to San Francisco for work as a science editor with Barnes Nobles. There she met her beloved husband, David. They married in 2004 and moved to Hillsboro, Oregon. Jessica loved working from home for the last ten years as a passionate tea maker and entrepreneur in the software program industry. She loved gardening, trips to Cannon Beach, and visiting the Japanese gardens, always collecting friends along the way, Jessica was inclusive, sweet and kind to all creatures, large and small. She is survived by her husband, David, her father, Joseph, her stepmother Kathy, her mother, Linda, and her sister, Cassandra. Her beloved stepfather and high school counselor, Merle Suelzle preceded her in death. Her spirit remains. She will always be with us and we with her.
