On Wednesday, April 28th, 2021, Peggy (Johnson) Goss, loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away due to breast cancer at the age of 70 in Anacortes, Washington. She was born on December 28, 1950 in Central Valley, California. She grew up in Sitka, Alaska with her siblings, Charlotte, Gary, Larry, Richard, Billy,Charlie, Sonny, and Eddie. Peggy lovingly raised her three children, Chelcy, Gary, and Joey in Anacortes, Washington. She worked on the Washington State Ferries for 19 years where she made many lifelong friendships. Peggy had a passion for making people laugh. She was known for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and off the wall humor. Preceding Peggy in death were her parents Wes and Murna Johnson, siblings, Eddie, Sonny, Billy and Charlotte. She is survived by her daughter, Chelcy Beatty and husband Don Beatty, son Gary Goss and wife Kellie Goss, son Joey Goss and wife Holly Goss, as well as six grandchildren, Carley Beatty, Kendall Beatty, Makenna Goss, Brittany Goss, and Coleman Goss. She is also survived by her brothers Gary, Larry, Richard, and Charlie Johnson, sister Janice Meabon, and many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 23rd, 2021 at the Family Life Assembly of God 1617 29th street in Anacortes Washington at 1:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in her name at the Family Life Assembly of God 1617 29th street Anacortes, WA.
