December 10, 1936 - December 30, 2020 BEVERLY H. (CASSELL) HAGG, 84, passed away December 30, 2020 at Skagit Valley Hospital. Beverly was born December 10, 1936 in Trail BC, Canada to Percy Frederick and Emily Alice (Olson) Cassell. Beverly grew up in Nanaimo, BC where she met her future husband, Torsten "Tork" Magnus Hagg, while she was working at a movie theatre. They were married on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1954. They made their home in Anacortes where they raised their three children. Beverly had various jobs but her favorite was when she worked as a phone operator in Canada in the 1950's. She enjoyed her home and was happy when company stopped by. Tork and Bev enjoyed years of traveling together, and with friends. Beverly enjoyed and spoiled her miniature schnauzers she had over the years. Beverly was very independent and a hard worker, always willing to pitch in when her kids had any projects going. Her wit and smile will be missed by her family. After Tork passed away, she lived by herself and took pride in keeping up her home herself until April of 2020, when her Alzheimer's progressed to the point she had to move to a memory care facility. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Tork, in 2009 and her parents. Beverly is survived by her son Torsten "Tory" Hagg, her daughter Victoria "Vikki" (Lynn) Meyer and her son Dean (Deanna) Hagg, 8 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Richard, and sisters, Georgina and Dale in Canada. At her request, there will be no services. The family will celebrate her life at a later date.
