July 21, 1940- December 10, 2020 Wanda May Pearcy 80, a lifetime resident of Skagit County, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020. She was born in Mount Vernon, Washington on July 21, 1940 to Theodore and Floy (Thomas) Starr. On June 7, 1958 she married Donald Pearcy and they raised their family in Mount Vernon. She worked for the General Telephone Company from 1961 till 1971 and then Skagit Valley Hospital from 1979-1998. Her family and friends will long be inspired by the consideration and kindness she showed to others. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Donald Pearcy. She is survived by her children, Linda Hernandez, Cheryl (Tim) Crosby, Robert (Teresa) Pearcy, and Mike (Ronee) Pearcy; grandchildren, Sonya and Carlos Hernandez, Jasmine Masadey, Falyn Crosby, Jessica Desmond, Ryan, Tanner and Tyler Pearcy; and 6 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Northwest for their considerable support. Family will hold a private memorial and ask that any donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 1355 Peachtree St. NE, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30309. Services are under the direction of Kern Funeral Home, Mount Vernon.
