Cassera Gallery: Thursday, June 13. Opening reception 5-9 p.m. for two artists’ shows, “Organic Metamorphosis,” mixed media sculptures by Camano Island artist David Taber and “Skagit Abstraction,” paintings by La Conner artist Barbara Silverman Summers. Salish Sea Early Music Festival: Friday, June 21. The final concert of the series is an evening of 18th-Century Quartets, with harpsichordist Jonathan Oddie, violist and violinist Stephen Creswell, baroque cellist Caroline Nicolas and one-key baroque flutist Jeffrey Cohan performing works of Telemann, C.P.E. Midsommar fest: Sunday, June 23, experience Midsommar, a summer solstice celebration, noon to 3 p.m. at Kristoferson Farm, 332 NE Camano Drive, Camano Island. Midsommar originated in Scandinavia. All ages, Scandinavian or not, can try floral headwreath-making, playing Kubb (or Viking chess), along with Scandinavian music and food.
