Quilters donate to Christmas House

Donna Hefty and Freeborn Busy Bee quilters packed five SUVs with 125 quilts they had made and hauled them over to Christmas House in Stanwood on Dec. 11. To make the holidays even more jolly, they delivered a check for $1,500. money raised through Freeborn’s annual fundraiser bazaar.

Patti Ludwig, a Busy Bee and Freeborn council member, delivered a check for $336 plus 56 pairs of brand new Lularoe leggings. Ludwig is a Lularoe representative who got other representatives to donate to this cause. Deb Seay, a Busy Bee quilter and Freeborn’s president, later brought 30 more quilts to Christmas house.
