Raliberto’s Taco Shop

Raliberto’s Taco Shop owner Marcial Thompson serves up a lunch order last week.

Raliberto’s Taco Shop opened last week in downtown Stanwood.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at 8924 271st St. NW — at the former location of Farmer’s Cafe.

This is the second location for owner Marcial Thompson, who has operated a Raliberto’s Taco Shop at 233 128th St. SW in Everett for the past eight years.

“This is a great opportunity for us,” Thompson said. “The location is great and you don’t have these kind of tacos up here.”

Raliberto’s San Diego-style tacos and burritos have less rice and beans used as filler, he said.

“We’re trying to bring something people here haven’t seen,” he said.

The Stanwood location opened Oct. 22, featuring indoor seating and a drive-thru. Its dishes offer a mix of homemade Mexican meals, including tacos, burritos and several specials.

“We got welcomed with lots of people,” Thompson said. “More than we were expecting.”

Raliberto’s is open 8 a.m. to midnight daily. For more, call 360-629-2000.
