Here's a quick look at how voting is going in Skagit County based on the Tuesday night tally. After a second count for the night, 12,517 ballots had been counted, and the next count is set to occur Wednesday afternoon.

That means results are far from clear because an estimated 31,000 ballots still remain to be counted.

With those limited returns, the Proposition 1, Freeholder Election was failing, the Anacortes transportation sales tax was passing and Sedro-Woolley's school bond was failing.
